AR: Code geass

This anime caused PAAD

Code geass

Art: CLAMP did the art work for this anime part of its charm the only complaint is that in some shots the head is smaller then the body this is basic for CLAMP and nothing new just irksome is all. The noodle style is very promote here but works fairly well. Watching the anime is like watching a disney movie flowing motion with not a hair out of place its anime at its best here though some facial expressions may be over used nothing seems redundant

Characters: 64 and those are only the ones that are named. Every character has a purpose and is intertwined with each other in some way. All the characters have depth you understand them, get scared when they do, cry, laugh and cheer with them. These characters are flawed you love them and hate them, you question their actions and ask yourself what would you do in that situation. lelouch is one of a kind all the characters in this story are. No matter how hard you try no character will be exactly the same as these characters these are the characters that once over you won't get out of your head the voice acting is amazing lelouch's voice will haunt you for a long long time. He may sound like zuko in some ways but no he's not these are the characters you wish you grew up with lets leave it at that

Story: war, choices, death, pro life, peace, right, wrong, loyalty, who are the real bad guys? Mearly some of the questions and things to think over with this story, its complex and rich and so so different.

The story it's self is that of a young prince who was banished with his sister, he gains a power and tries to make a better world for his sister. If you told anyone that plot they would yawn and say its been over done or even boring however that is merely the tip of Code geass as that snowball starts rolling you realize its not a basic as the synopses on the back makes you believe. The story is rich the ending is that of...well no spoilers here, action, drama, backstories you could read the whole story on wikipidea and that wouldn't do it this is a story you have to see its one of a kind all thats left? ALL HAIL ZERO!

Rating: PG-13 Blood, very disturbing imagery at times, violence, nudity, Big boobies, some WTHeck moments, Drug use, death, some religious discussion (to put it mildly)

Company: Bandai entertainment

My rating : 5 out of 5 To give it anything less is wrong it just is. This is an anime where even if you read EVERY spoiler and the whole story on wiki and TV tropes it still shocks you when you see it and still brings a tear to your eye even if your not crying like say when you read shiver *raises hand * it will still leave you sucker punched and tearing up I know it did me

One last thing because to not added it would be wrong, after watching this anime you will NEVER look at a keyboard, speed typeing, or texting (with the keyboard kind) the same way ever again

Next: Double post! my fave authors and code manga review (7/1/10)

Notice before hand

This is rare but this is one of those rare moments where I have to state something before the review So there is a lot of stuff about code geass that bug me however you must know this

I'm a catholic I watch the anime not for the “anti-religious” stuff as it may seem I watch it for the political views that very much mirror Avatar the last Bender's politics the way a figure head works and the similarity to zuko and his father (same take over the world banished prince thing)

I like that because I can fallow it I love the dub and the art and the characters and don't like some actions, homosexuality, lies, unnatural deaths, etc that is all So now I can write the review w/o sticking my long ranting views in it XD Also I apologize a head of time if my review is incoherent this anime is indescribable at best and the ending really choked me up

Also this is what PABD is:

Now on to the review!!!

Animation - How it Works

Below you can find out that there are three basic types of animation, which has brought a new era of wonderful expertise in the discipline of the film industry, media and web, Web site design and graphics. Primary animation is an easy and simple keyframe animation. Animation is a showcase of various shows and actions that add animation to your website or film. Web customers are often happy to see a site that is nicely animated with good graphics. A web designer may not idea to his website, they use basic animation, because of its virtual services within the Internet market. In simple words, the basic animation of the dream picture of the various movements which are attached collectively on a proper method so that guests / audience will have the effect of seeing a nice set of coordinated actions.

Typically, this delightful animation artwork created using the Java language. For example. If you want to present a jump ball, you can draw different positions the ball in different drawings or frames as they are called. Within the first drawing, you will be able to present the ball resting on the ground, in the second body, the ball just over the base, the third will present the ball 2-3 feet above the ground before the fourth ball is a little down and so on until finally the ball is on the ground. These drawings are composed with the help of computer imaging, using software that matches good results, time management and taking pictures with a camera. In the final result you can see an animation similar to live motion of a ball boy jumps up and down to earth.

Laptop Animation is the latest animation techniques, including 2D and 3D animation. These animations not only enhance the hand-drawn characters, but also makes them actually think that in comparison with the above animations. 2D Animation: It is used in the form of PowerPoint and Flash animations. Although its features are like cell animation, 2D animation is change in joint placed for easy use of scanned drawings into the PC as in a cartoon. 3D Animation: It is used in film, where we require unusual objects or characters not only to show. Using 3D animation can create a bunch of individuals in a disaster such as earthquakes, floods or war. There are different types of help of mathematical codes, display of actions and colors that are thought-blowing as if copied from an accurate picture.

Stop animation or stop motion animation is a technique to make objects transfer on your own. Here are a few photos signed with some different positions and photographed separately. Puppetry is one of the key used frame-to-body animation types. Some famous movies that are animated through stop animation results King Kong, The Dinosaur and the Missing Link, The Curse of the Were-Rabbit was misplaced and the World.

Cell animation refers to the traditional method of animation in a series of hand drawings. In this process of animation is very different images are created, which is slightly different, however progressive, to portray certain actions. Tell these drawings on a transparent sheet. This clear sheet is known as the cell and is a medium for drawing frames. Now draw the outlines for the photographs and color them on the back of CEL. The cel is an effective method to help you save time by combining the characters and backgrounds. You can also place the older drawings of different backgrounds or Cels each required time.

Right here, you must not draw the same picture again because it has the ability to save previous animations that can be utilized as needed. Coloring a background may be a harder job than a single drawing, as it covers the entire image. Context requires shade and light and can be considered a longer duration. Then use your digital camera to photograph these drawings. Today, cell animations made more enticing by means of drawings along with music that matches the sound effects and connecting time of each impact. Eg To display a cartoon show 10-12 frames are done in rapid move per second to offer an illustration of motion in a cel animation.

Rant: Photoshopped artwork

Rant 1: Photoshopping art

It would be hypocritical to say I hate it. Its not true I like photoshopped art but what is photoshopped art? Its when you take a background photo and use a photoshopped filer on it.

This has one of 2 effects

        1. Can make the picture look really cool like the character is in our world (seen here: ) and look really really cool

        2. kill the art and have it overly used so much that thats all the reader is focused on

most newbi artist do this for fun not knowing any better and never planing on getting that published and even when you see it in a manga its brief and a background what the twilight manga did was take all the backgrounds from the movie and photoshop it into the manga a cheap fall out plan if you ask me.

Photoshopping clothes should just be a NO on all accounts unless its in a store but if some one is wherein a shirt it should be a drawn shirt not a photoshopped one that looks awkward.

Food again should be drawn food in a picture doesn't have to be detailed when a character is eating photoshopped food they may as well be eating a hologram.

Most artist know how to avoid this and 99% of them never photoshop BG's unless its effect and not a scene. Really ypu have to see it in the manga to understand why this is so bothersome to me and possibly other manga fans out there

On a side note I have a question for you all and that is why are most YA books romance? Also why is it so hard to find a book with little romance that is also easy to get into? I wish there was a book slimier to code geass in that the main focus is family love, enough action and suspense and romance but nothing pushed very unisex in portal in that both boys and girls can read it?

Most books aren't like that it's either a book for girls or guys

it get sicking after a while don't you think?

Challenge 3: 100 best book

There is a issue in the artwork that I am going to rant about in it's own post possibly after this one

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, Young kim

Vol 1

Art: -sigh- At first glace the art work is AMAZING but then you get your hands on the book. The buildings, food, cars, and anything else that is not people (Roseile and emmets pants and shoes in one spot, the wolf in Bella's dream) Is all Photoshopped pictures, those things are not hand drawn they are photoshopped! The Art (photoshopped stuff aside) is actually not that bad its something between realism and manga.

See threw characters are a BIG no no Bella is see threw in one part and the thugs are see threw right before edward comes The one thing not understandable is the color inserts the one part is understandable (where Bella says her favorite gem is topaz) being in color as well as Edward's eyes after it. What doesn't make sense is the page after it being color and only the sky, and Edward's hair and eyes after that it goes back to black and white the other instance of this is the red blood in the blood testing(2 pages), Bella's dream(3 pages), Edward sparkling in the sun( 7 pages) and the last two pages with the acknowledgments on it, Manga is know for color inserts but NOT in the manga itself and normally if it is its one page. Some background characters also had the placement lines still on their face, one guys eyes were different shapes and empty. All in all the artist and or Stephanie Meyer do not know much about background art

Characters: All drawn pretty and well jessica looked 20 however but they were all in character and the Cullens and Bella looked well perfect

Story: Manga adaptation's of books are normally choppy that is to be expected. This is worse then choppy or missing dialog however, this is crazy. The dialog is all there OK, fine, perfect what isn't is proper transitions or art to story connection. For example Edward stops the van with his hand but the art work showed his BACK to the van thus his hand not stopping it. The proper transitions were also missing such as Bella suddenly being at the hospital or Bella fainting in bio you don't really get what happened . Another thing is the word balloons (this would normally go in the art section but since that is jam-packed it is being stated it here) normally word balloons are apart of the art and story they flow with the art work, these have little black tails! They distract horribly from the art work and story.

Cover : The cover is meant to be a two parter that is once book two comes out you put them together and see edward and Bella laying in the meadow. Not a bad premise but done poorly the title seems to not be a part of the cover at all instead the first thing you see is Bella and a “severed” hand in her hair the title is on top same as the book in font but the picture takes away from that. It would have been better off with a drawn version of the original or movie tie in cover

Rating: N/A I would assume T for teen seeing as the book it was based off of is a YA book

Company: Yen press

My rating: 3 out of 5

Let me just state that there is one scene that made me laugh and I have to say what it was , there's this one part where the Cullen's are going home Alice is laying her head and hands on the top of the car and jasper has his hand on her shoulder like “come on alice time to get off the car” lol

Next: a mini rant about photoshopped art work

Animation in Photoshop

Animation is a sequence of images or images that appear over time. Every image is simply different from the images that come in, create traffic or other changes when examining the frame by frame. Photoshop is a variety of animation shows the scheme shown in the animation format. Use the tools at the bottom of the Animation palette guide frames, add and delete an image, preview the animation and looping options.

Animation palette menu contains additional options for editing images, or duration, and changing tones on the screen. Select an icon from the palette menu to see the available options. In Photoshop Extended, you can use a variety of animations, or frame mode, or take time. History mode displays animation properties of the document layer and time frame. Use the tools at the bottom of the palette to move through your finances, increase or reduction in hours, changes in skin mode to delete keyframes and video review. You can use the controls for setting the current time period, when you set keyframes for layer properties of layers and choose one point as desktop video. At the time mode, the animation shows each layer palette in Photoshop Extended document, but not the background layer, and is synchronized with the Layers palette. When the layer is added, the color, removed, grouped, renamed, or duplicated, the changes are updated in both of these topics.

When working with animations, you must have an understanding of what makes animation work. These are the basics and make it easier to get through his creation.

I'm on time and not late take that white rabbit!

x3 so just an update since I'm *shock* on time with everything 0_0. Well close if I play my cards right I can watch the rest of this anime (4 eps in one day) in one day. This wasn't the original plan the original plan was that I would have this anime done tomorrow (with one ep) However I can do this 2 ways: watch all 4 eps in one day and write the review, or watch 3 eps tomorrow and finish it up on the 30th write the review then post it. Either way I'm going to have a review posted on the 30th promise.

However the second review I was thinking of posting may be delayed till the 1st not much of a problem though. I also have 2 books and a manga to read now if all goes well I should have reviews to post for a few days till "linger "comes out (july 20th).

Two last things

1. I've decided that since I Have the reviews why don't I post? So I'm going to post the challenge out of order the challenge I am speaking of is here: I know its shocking but the fact that I have three challenges done, and two going to be WIP and I can't seem to get them done in order and out of the 23 books in my TBR 7 of them are for this challenge So..yeah..what I'm going to do is post them with out numbers but put them in order in my archive

2. Favorite authors Everyone has them so I'm going to make a list of my faves yay be ready Idk when I'll be doing this XD

and a surprise its a surprise because I still have to ask someone if I can use her idea

So >3> till the 30th my little duckies!

B Gata H Kei

Animation Training Choices - Self Taught Versus School Taught

With all the how-to programs, software and recording equipment, it seems as if you do not really go to enter animation school to produce things creative. Satisfying a segment and upload it to the distribution network, whether it is a personal web site or community site, it is certainly tempting and a focus of many aspiring artists, animators and filmmakers.

When you look at animation and creative works in general, you can spot the difference in styles and quality of subject is generated by a person who has everything he learned on his own and against the person who has been through training or education system.

The differences between these two creative ways with the age old argument for commercial versus non-commercial. Animation is the exception, and if anything even more controversial. If you want to get into animation and visual arts school, they usually have undergone some other class or art to submit a portfolio. There is already a part of being self-taught. How else would you know if you really liked it without trying it?

Self-taught animator can express fear that they will be destroyed or system sell their creative work with the art group and has some personal creative success. Sometimes this attitude is in response to the stigma that the work is not taken as seriously considered as just "hobby". There is validity to your own journey of discovery, but it may take much longer to access and understand the knowledge and equipment.

Generally, if an animator is a self-taught, the tendency to imitate, in terms of character design, scene structure and color palette, mostly originating from a favorite comic or animation genre. Clearly, you have to start somewhere, and if imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, it can hold back from developing a personal creative style. Next hurdle is the lack of a network may limit your ability to reach audiences you're hoping. More often than not, really special animators will grow in these early stages to overcome these obstacles and create something truly phenomenal, and develop a local festival and after.

Animator schooling typically shows a stronger character design, character movement, scene composition and structure, strong and suitable choice of colors. Well-run animation and art schools can provide a temporary framework for the creative process that includes planning, budgeting time and creative post-production resources. Normally you have the opportunity to learn and work with professional equipment. The curricula of exposure to other disciplines within the field of animation allows you to find a creative niche in the production, cooperation and trade system.

Another important element involved in the animation, or art school is a sense of community and mentorship of teachers who are usually entertainers who actually worked on various animated films from personal to commercial to feature. It lets you get to know peers and be able exchange ideas, and techniques. Exposure, and include other techniques and styles will help you get real jobs in animation, where the client or student can have their own special style as an animated nature. Get paid to get help from other project funding may mean your personal project in the future. All these are the foundation for future creative and career opportunities that do not self-taught animator focused opportunity to participate in.

Respect to the animation or art college, does that give your creative spirit. It is important to get the tools for creating animated vision you have in your head. The time needed to open myself up to try new skills, to career connections, and actually develop their own creative identities. More skills means that there are more tools to break through the creative tasks and enable you to become a valued and popular, which may contribute to further cooperation projects.

An important tip to remember that even if you attend the animation or art school, does not place the animation studio. What would you like at the door may be that the demo reel, which ironically may be a piece you get into animation school in the first place. The best part about Going to school is that it is a great opportunity to create professional-looking demo reel and portfolio will be used to obtain a job or means to produce their "next big thing." Decision-makers do not want to be told about his talent, they need to see your talent.

In summary, self-taught, you will learn on their own timetable and on their own terms. Negatives are that you might miss that they are useful tips that will give your animation style, extra crispness, visual improvement, and you can be isolated from the network of valuable opportunities to ship. Problems involving the animation or art school include costs for planning and bends time pressure and big ego challenge to get someone to criticize your animation, which he thought was perfect. It is important that image in mind. Whatever the purpose, whether the path is open to learn and explore your style. It is very important to keep in touch with the creative community and most of all, to process and share your animation talent with others.
